Coming Home

I can believe how blessed I am to work in an international position for a company that values my need to see my family this time of the year and again this summer. I still can't believe that I live and work in the amazing city of Shanghai, China with opportunities to travel throughout all of Asia.

Even so, there's nothing like holding my children in my arms after being gone for seven months. I get to see them and revisit the rest of my family and several friends. Even though the snow is at heights that I haven't seen in years, it's all worth it to me.

I realize that my blog still identifies me as a superintendent when I'm the director of American Programs, but I'm not going to change it anytime soon. I just know that this may become a blog that is more focused on my personal life and the experiences of China, South Korea, Vietnam, the Phillipines and etc.
